Create the Work You Love Home Study Course
Are you in a career transition or wanting to make a career change? Do you ever feel like you're too busy to focus on what you really want to do with your life? Or do you have a hard time staying confident and motivated?
Dedicate one hour a week to your career transition and creating your dreams with this 12-week, home study course. It's self-paced so there is no need to be anywhere at a certain time.
Every Tuesday morning you will receive an e-mail that includes:
- A specially designed motivational lesson
- A power-packed assignment
- A 5 minute audio meditation, specially designed for the week's lesson
The 12-week series is divided into three sections with four lessons in each section designed to help you with your career transition:
- Supporting Yourself on Your Journey: covers core attitudes about the journey, including themes that help you find and build your own wisdom and strength.
- Discovering What You Love: addresses finding what you love. If you already know what you love, you can use this section to go deeper into what exactly you want to do and where you find the most energy.
- Taking Actions With Love: covers how to begin living your passion, including how to work with yourself, and how to keep yourself going and stay inspired.
Tools in Your Home Study E-Course and How to Use Them:
Tama developed the following tools to support you on your career transition journey in this course:
1. Your Opportunity to Go Deeper
This part of the lesson is your assignment, your chance to crack the lessons open and take them into the lake of personal experience. There is no wrong or right way to do the lesson. Always trust your journey.
2. Some Focusing Questions
These questions provide some background for the lesson. They are other ways to approach or uncover your own wisdom. You can journal about these, think about them, meditate about them, discuss them with a friend and/or share your thoughts on the Message Board. And feel free to let them jog your own focusing questions. Many questions lead to more questions, but the right question will give you the right answer! So have at it. Keep asking and what you need, will show up.
3. Audio Meditations
I designed these brief meditations to be used in the morning or evening or both. There will be 12 meditations, corresponding to the 12 lessons and weeks of this course. You might light a candle and listen to your meditation. You might take it on a walk with you. The more you use the meditation, the more the suggested thoughts will encourage your own shifts and insights. The meditation is designed to help you open to your intuitive wisdom. I suggest listening to the week's meditation every day.
4. Message Board:
First, I suggest you go out onto the special message board on-line and introduce yourself to your support team -- the other folks taking this course with you. If you would prefer privacy, you can use any name you like. Why not say a little bit about where you are in life right now and where you'd like to be. Or what made you sign up for this course at this time. It's a chance for us all to get to know each other. Please use the message board as often as you can. It will help you articulate things, announce them, sound them out. Many students use the message board as a tool to "say it out loud" in a safe, non-judgmental space. I suggest you dive in dear one! Also, you never know what kind of support you might receive or offer. Your words can unlock a secret in someone else or offer them inspired strength. (By the way, there may be many students who read the message board comments and who do not yet write on it, but who still gain great strength from it.) And often, in responding to someone else, you might be awakening something in yourself. See your ecourse emails for a link to your class discussion forum.
And most of all, enjoy!
